# Telling, testifying or remaining silent

When an account is expected, begin with purpose: private support, clinical information, official testimony and publication differ. Reading requires neither a prepared biography nor replaying violence.

Separate sections consider institutional dependence and public error. A substantive answer about an error differs from disclosing an entire private history. Privacy nevertheless cancels neither operative duties nor necessary information in an appropriate procedure.

Read selectively. Immediate danger requires suitable protection and urgent assistance. This article determines no local rights, coaches no testimony and guarantees no safe refusal, contact or departure. Complete information control after transfer is not promised. Care need not become an exchange for publicity, forgiveness or correct emotions.
