# When a child's contact and reactions have changed

Sharp answers, silence, or constant watchfulness after danger can worry people close to a child. Yet “changed” explains neither a cause nor the child's character. This article considers observation and assumption, physical health, circumstances at home and school, and contact without a compulsory war account. There is room for a child's privacy, adult needs, and boundaries against actual harm. Professional help does not require selecting a diagnosis or obtaining correct behavior first. In immediate danger, unsafe behavior, or serious acute deterioration, obtaining appropriate help comes before reading. A routine consultation must not delay urgent action; necessary care can continue while questions remain unresolved.
