# When a task has become difficult

If a child misses instructions, tires quickly, or struggles with familiar work, the cause need not be known immediately to offer help. This article distinguishes language, untaught material, workload, and possible medical assessment, including hearing, vision, and known injury concerns. There is no home test, diagnosis based on marks, or promised recovery deadline. Particular conditions, adult involvement, and assistance actually received matter. A child need not become convenient or prove exceptional ability first. In immediate danger, sudden hearing loss, or serious acute deterioration, appropriate help comes before schoolwork or reading. Educational support and attention to health can be needed together.
