# Earlier care need not await a new wartime explanation

Someone may have had a mental health condition and working care before war. Lost contact cannot mean needs have ended. This article distinguishes earlier conditions, present reactions, real threats, and new medical changes. There is no behavioral diagnosis, medication regimen, or home test. Individual plans belong with appropriate professionals, but urgent help need not await their completion. Suicidal thoughts, life-threatening situations, or serious acute deterioration need suitable professional participation; sudden confusion needs immediate medical help even with a familiar diagnosis. Adults retain voice, children are not sole rescuers, and relatives are not an entire system. Ordinary life matters without public war accounts, recovery deadlines, or gratitude buying dignity.
