# Perinatal loss when people close to each other grieve differently

UW:GROW-016:en · r01 · local GEO, original hash bound in QA/DELIVERY. Server acceptance NOT_RUN.

For adults aged18+ following pregnancy loss or a child's death around birth, partners, and supporters. Different clinical circumstances are not equated or assigned a gestational threshold from the reader's language. I separates fact, unknown cause, and personal meaning; II preserves physical care; III–IV consider different expressions and voluntary memory choices; V–VI distinguish support from grateful debt and making one person everybody's support; VII–VIII preserve continuing life and one manageable step without requiring grief to end.

Practice: name one care need for today, welcome presence, and what is not wanted as a conversation. Select one agreed action with a real task owner; with limited resources, ask about one accessible service. A sentence can suffice, or writing can stop. Check the action rather than improved mood.

Clinical urgency does not wait for acceptance or ritual. Suspected loss needs assessment; dangerous signs need appropriate urgent/emergency help. Reduced usual movement in ongoing pregnancy needs immediate contact. This is no complete symptom list. Imminent danger needs local emergency assistance. There is no self-diagnosis, prescribing, universal grief deadline, compulsory memory practice, or required later pregnancy. Other children are not responsible for adult safety.
