## Question

How can need and care demands be named without turning them into a verdict on one's worth? A loved one's actual fatigue is acknowledged without concluding that a person is unnecessary. No promise that family life is always easy, or requirement to compensate with usefulness or a good mood.

## Argument

Time, skills, transport and equipment concern a task's arrangement. “I am a burden” merges these with an assessment of a person's presence. Kant's humanity-as-end formula limits reducing people, including helpers, to a function. Its historical rational-nature foundation is not turned into a test of intelligence, speech or capacity.

Galatians 6 is read within community life: mutual help and personal responsibility coexist without creating a care formula or obliging one relative to replace a system. Alice Wong's 2023 interview provides a personal example of substantial assistance and a high self-assessment of quality of life. It does not promise the same experience to everyone.

A specific conversation concerns action, timing, agreement and actual ability. A contact name does not establish an accepted task. Privacy is not payment for transport or care. Essential assistance requires skills and an accepted handover; a child does not become its sole coordinator.

## Application and limits

Name one upcoming task, known resources and a remaining need, ask a specific question and check actual acceptance. Money, writing and a family helper are not prerequisites. NHS respite information supports continuity and resource conditions; English services are not guaranteed elsewhere.

Thoughts of being unnecessary can be described to a chosen person or available professional without self-diagnosis. Immediate danger to oneself requires appropriate urgent help without waiting for an exercise. The article provides no home risk assessment or replacement for medical care. Clinical, native-language and actual reader testing NOT_RUN.
