## Question

How can someone identify a concern and clarify support while awaiting an examination or facing possible recurrence? Procedure, result, transport, communication and future disruption are different questions. Calm guarantees no favourable outcome; fear predicts no unfavourable one.

## Argument

A known fact, unknown result and imagined scenario differ. A completed but unreceived report differs from a possible event a year away. Aristotle's future sea-battle example is a limited logical distinction, not a claim that illness is undetermined or chances equal.

Seneca's distinction between present, anticipated and imagined adversity neither declares medical fear imaginary nor sets an endurance test. Jon's personal scanxiety account shows waiting's cost and disruption to family roles without establishing the reader's prognosis.

The contemporary sources are predominantly cancer-specific. NCI preserves an individual follow-up plan and reporting physical/emotional changes. A new symptom alone does not establish recurrence, and this article cannot explain it away as anxiety. No generic schedules, tests, drugs or anxiety treatments are prescribed.

## Application and limits

Choose one question, distinguish known and supposed information, identify an actual respondent and, if wanted, agree one support role. Text in an app differs from an understandable explanation. Silence does not establish wellbeing; no fallback contact remains an unmet service need.

Money, writing, a relative and purchases are not required. A manageable ordinary activity need not be judged by success in removing fear. Concerning changes go to the team; a severe acute condition requires appropriate urgent help without waiting for a planned message. General information does not replace individual instructions. Actual reader testing, clinical and native-language review NOT_RUN.
