## If danger is present now
Serious self-harm, fear of harming yourself now or immediate danger calls for appropriate local emergency help. Ask someone nearby to assist with contact if needed. Do not wait for reading, family or perfect words; where possible do not remain alone with the danger.

## Short answer
You can say directly: “This is unbearable; I need help.” Suicidal thoughts can be named directly. Seriousness is measured neither by polished speech, money, gratitude nor care needs.

## Questions
**Can one ask about suicide directly?** NIMH recommends a direct question; it is no home risk assessment.
**Does conversation mean danger has ended?** No. Appropriate contact and actual help matter.
**Are pain and missing care the same issue?** They can coexist with crisis but require their relevant responses.
**Without family, money or an app?** At an available encounter a short request can ask for help making contact. A particular free service is not promised.

## Limits
No phone number for an unknown country, individual assessment or confidentiality/outcome guarantee. Spiritual reading and practice are no conditions for help. No treatment instructions, dangerous intervention or home safety test.
