## Short answer
Hope can concern recovery and a meaningful present goal together. Distinguish desired, known, promised and actually agreed assistance. Attitude and faith create no obligation to deliver an outcome.

## Questions
**Does fear mean insufficient hope?** Emotion is no examination or explanation of a clinical outcome here.
**Does asking about prognosis cancel hope?** No automatic conclusion follows. NCI describes group-data limits in oncology; a personal answer needs competent explanation.
**Does requesting palliative support mean refusing treatment?** Support may coexist with other treatment; individual choices and access need separate checking.
**Without family, money or an app?** One available oral request can concern a present need. Resources and answers are not promised.

## Limits
No prognosis, treatment selection, doses, miracle or emotional-outcome guarantee. Hope need not change on command; care is not earned through faith. Nonspeaking adults retain participation; children are not adult interpreters/permanent carers. Urgent needs and immediate danger do not wait for reading or practice.
