## Short answer

An intention can have important conditions and one reason to revisit it without promising a future bodily state. Desire, forecast, information and commitment differ. Conditional wording removes neither costs nor actual terms nor missing access nor another person's consent. No acceptable option may exist yet.

## Claims and scope

- C1 — I–II: Nina is a hypothetical adult example. A meeting need not await recovery, but interest is no purchase or prognosis. Confirmed absence of a service differs from no reply; unknowns receive no invented probability.
- C2 — III: Epictetus4 concerns intention/obstructions in a Stoic frame. Particular travel conditions are contemporary authorial application. Calmness creates no accessible entrance; danger, pain and humiliation are not renamed attitude mistakes.
- C3 — IV–V: Luke14 retains discipleship context; KantII retains respect for a person. Means and voluntary commitment differ; refunds/rescheduling need separate checking. Payment creates no duty to endure danger. A friend gains no general decision authority; family/children are no ready reserve.
- C4 — VI–VII: count substitutes only when actually present and agreed. Missing money, helper, channel or suitable venue remain gaps. A review point compels no purchase and replaces no medical assistance; constant monitoring is not prescribed.
- C5 — VIII: SenecaXIII13 supplies no requirement to prefer a desired prognosis. Wong2024 is bounded individual testimony, no clinical model or guaranteed improvement. Conditionality removes no disappointment.
- C6 — IX and practice: undated wishes, enjoyment, reflection and pauses need no therapeutic purpose, storytelling or usefulness. Necessary assistance does not await an exercise. Weightier decisions need their own information; dignity does not depend on fulfilled plans.

## Reader questions

**Does a plan's condition guarantee I will be able?** No. It supplies a ground for the next decision rather than predicting a bodily state.

**Is waiting always safer and free?** No. Places may disappear or deadlines apply; every option may have costs.

**What if no backup exists?** That remains a fact. A solitary activity is no automatic equivalent of company, and nobody must immediately invent an answer.

**Must a review date end in agreement?** No. Information or acceptable conditions may still be absent; necessary assistance is considered separately.
