Falling in Love and Getting to Know Someone: How Our Image of Them Changes

Distinguish an episode, personal hope and actual agreement. A warm image can change with information. Clarification is voluntary; refusal, safety and real obligations retain significance.

Questions explored

Must an image be cooled to know someone?

No: warmth can coexist with openness to new information.

Does one answer decide compatibility?

No: it concerns a particular question, although it may matter for personal choice.

Must everything be known before declining?

No: choice is possible with available knowledge; safety awaits no complete understanding.

Can someone be covertly tested?

This is not proposed: permitted safe interaction replaces manufactured tests.

Does research prove this format’s benefit?

No: the study’s abstract was read and this personal format is not validated.

Unknowns may remain open while important current terms need agreement. (Editorial distinction)
