Other children: friendship, arguments and exclusion

Short answer
Friendship cannot be commanded. Choosing a different game, an ordinary argument, a private missing invitation and group pressure raise different questions. Acknowledge disappointment, clarify one episode and examine feasible conditions. One sign does not determine a required friend count, a child's character or bullying.
What helps with an ordinary difficulty?
When safe and the child is willing, support a specific invitation, clarification, a pause or repair of one's own action. The other child retains a real answer, possessions and boundaries. An invitation does not guarantee agreement; a game does not promise permanent exclusive closeness. A private party creates no right to control someone else's home; clarify school rules separately.
When does protection become the question?
Threats, violence, humiliation or unsafe conditions require suitable attention and protection. Do not wait for a final label, another harmful event, reconciliation or a faultless account. Consider the affected child's sharp response separately; it does not automatically establish symmetry. Do not assign investigation, unsafe confrontation, obtaining private messages or group heroism to a child.
How should a concern be passed on?
Share necessary information with a suitable safe recipient, distinguishing known facts, reported information and inference. Do not create a public audience for humiliation. Clarify authority, confidentiality and actual local arrangements; an available specialist or result is not guaranteed. Sending a message, a concern taken up and changed conditions need separate confirmation.
When is additional or urgent help needed?
Recurring difficulty, significant distress or disrupted ordinary participation warrants suitable consideration without requiring every sign together. Immediate danger or acute deterioration calls for appropriate urgent help before optional analysis. Care does not depend on willingness to discuss.
Limits
Conditional6–11 scope for adult readers; no diagnosis or local legal test. RCN concerns early school guidance; UNESCO discusses a proposed definition; UNICEF provides general information. Marcus Aurelius and Confucius offer limited ethical comparisons, rather than a method or majority right to demand sacrifice. Thai GEO excluded.
