Short answer

Accepting money and choosing the extent of a public account are separate decisions. Before launch, separately agree on the purpose, financial chain, organiser’s role, initial wording and later updates. Financial accountability does not by default require publication of an entire medical history. The chosen disclosure scope cannot guarantee platform approval or fundraising success. If an acceptable verification arrangement is missing, that question remains unresolved.

Distinctions and support

  • Sections I–II: showing documents for restricted verification differs from publishing them on the internet. Permission to share a particular document needs separate checking.
  • Section III: administering a page, accessing funds, supporting expression of a choice and legal representation do not automatically coincide. A nonspeaking person does not consent by default.
  • Sections IV–V: Matthew 6, Maimonides and Seneca illuminate conspicuous giving, humiliation and gratitude. Their different religious and philosophical foundations do not create a common data protection law.
  • Section VI: a medical campaign does not itself establish an intervention’s safety or effectiveness; FTC guidance supplies this warning. The article neither selects treatment nor stops prescribed support.
  • Sections VII–VIII and practice: one spoken limit on disclosure or a smaller audience may be possible. A trusted intermediary, sufficient funds and available services are not guaranteed. A life needing support need not fit a recovery narrative.

Questions

Does approving a campaign approve another video? No. The initial wording and subsequent updates are discussed separately (III, V, practice).

Can all material be promised to disappear afterwards? Complete control over circulated copies cannot confidently be promised. Distinguish feasible deletion from material outside the organiser’s control (I, VIII).

What needs checking besides the story? Who receives and controls money, transfer conditions, fees, timing and the basis of the identified medical expense (II–III, VI).
