Short answer

An agreed task, technical access, representation and ownership differ. Needing assistance neither makes a helper the owner nor establishes consent to a new transaction.

Distinctions

  • A gift, reimbursement, payment and concession under threat have different grounds; the article makes no individual legal determination.
  • An unexplained transaction calls for clarification; it does not itself prove abuse.
  • Seeking protection must account for ongoing care, communication and an actually usable channel.
  • A report received is not money recovered or daily help secured.

Questions and answers

Does a helper decide for someone who does not speak? That does not follow. The person needs a way to understand and communicate their response; uncertainty about a particular response remains uncertainty.

What if there is no money for a lawyer and no account statement? One manageable request during an available encounter to explain authority and a suitable channel can begin clarification. No free or accessible service is guaranteed.

Must the relationship end? Neither separation nor forgiveness is required. Changing a financial undertaking and judging an entire relationship are different decisions.

Limits

US financial examples and English services do not establish worldwide procedures. Local authority, confidentiality, channel independence and remedies require verification. No instruction to disclose codes, bypass access, stop care or stage unsafe confrontation; no promise of recovery. Immediate danger does not wait for an archive.
