Short answer
Distinguish what ended: tasks, sustained workload, a role or a loved one's life. Clarify remaining responsibilities and actual handover while preserving an ordinary day without a compulsory new project.
Questions
Does ending always mean death? No. Support can decrease or transfer; relationships and tasks may remain. Should independence be limited to preserve a helper's role? No. Role loss authorizes no unwanted checks. Does relief mean wishing for death? A feeling alone proves no such conclusion; a particular action needs facts. Without money, family or an app? One oral question about an unresolved matter at an available encounter is possible; resources are not promised.
Limits
No recovery deadline, diagnosis, job/income/benefit promise or automatic acquittal of an unknown act. Do not cancel necessary support or test independence by removing necessities. Immediate danger needs appropriate urgent help.
