For caring adults and young adults18+. Condition, task, environment and necessary assistance differ. An unsuccessful participation method does not measure all a child's possibilities. Begin with an actual interest rather than proof of complete independence.
Entering a room, receiving information, understandable exchange and doing what matters are different results. Value partial solutions while naming what remains absent. A photograph, link or helper's name does not establish participation in practice.
A child's voice needs accessible expression alongside adult protection. Peers do not become a sole support service. Young adults can need assistance without automatically transferring every decision; clarify actual consent/representation rules separately. Public stories and correct gratitude are not payment.
With limited energy: one activity, one barrier, an actual responsible participant. Do not select treatment, equipment or transfer methods through the article. Serious new acute deterioration requires appropriate urgent care without waiting for a scheduled accessibility discussion; bullying requires adult consideration and protection.
